Cranberries are the new raisins! At least that was our motto when we mixed our trail mix 2.0. For all those who simply can't decide between roasted crunch and fruity yam. Or perhaps have always been at war with raisins.
The roasted crunch in this batch is seriously addictive, and the cranberries give it just enough chew to keep things interesting. I’ve already gone through two bags this week, mostly straight from the pouch while working.
The mix leans sweet from the cranberries but the roasted nuts balance it out perfectly, so you get that fruity chew and salty crunch in every handful. I've already torn through the bag in two days just snacking at my desk.
The roasted bits add just the right crunch next to the chewy cranberries, so every handful feels balanced without being too sweet. I’ve been grabbing a small bowl mid-afternoon and it actually keeps me going until dinner.
