Opened the bag and got that fresh, buttery aroma right away—these kernels have a nice tender crunch that holds up even after I toasted them lightly. A small handful over a simple arugula salad was enough to make the whole dish feel like a trip to the Mediterranean.
Tossed a handful into my pesto last night and the creamy, buttery texture really came through—they ground up smoothly without turning oily. The bag was fresh, no stale or rancid bits, which is my usual complaint with pine nuts.
